Northlane ran nightly batch jobs to reconcile accounts, which meant finance teams worked from numbers that were up to 24 hours stale. Octaflare rebuilt the ledger as an event-sourced, real-time system, migrated eleven years of historical records without downtime, and cut month-end close from six days to under one.
